Dear Second grade journal,
A few days ago my Dad, Brian, told me a story that story was very fun, but weird at the same time. My Dads story was called, "A Dream Inventor."
Once upon a time my Dad woke up and was thirsty...very thirsty. So he walked to the sink and got a drink. This water was very weird, but he did not care really. Next he started walking, for four years. Well, that's what he thought, but it was really like 15 seconds.
Then he got in bed....BOOM!!! He was asleep and when he woke up, his bed was a doughnut which actually was a raft floating on a sea of,....melted gummy bears. He saw that yummy swirl of rainbow gummy bears and like anybody would do, he grabbed hand fulls of melted gummy bears and gulped it bite by bite. Then a thousand more bites. Then he noticed the doughnut raft, so he ate that too, but it was only the size of a shoe. So, yep, he fell in the water (melted gummy bears) and then he started to sink and he hated that sinking feeling, so came up with a plan. It was a dumb plan, but it was worth a try.
He ate as much melted gummy bears as he could. Then he saw two chicks on the boat and he hopped on the boat. The chicks had to hop off the little doughnut raft and the chicks were very mad, but it was a good trade. Do you know when you eat too much candy you become sick? My Dad threw up and it was so powerful it shot him way up into the air and he went sooo high it took him two minutes to come down. He knew he would be falling for quite some time, but he had a plan and that plan was flying. He knew it was a doomed, but it was worth a try.
He flapped his arms and wings, and saw the two chicks struggling. So he got them on his wings and then he saw land and he said to the chicks, "what is that?" The chicks said that it was the chocolate mountain of course. The chicks said they loved chocolate and he flew right there. He flew right to it and fell while his teeth were eating the chocolate. He had so much chocolate in his mouth that he woke up. and was thirsty and got a drink.
THE END
